Overview
Goals are collections of related quests grouped together to represent a larger objective or growth path. Instead of assigning individual tasks, managers can define a Goal (e.g., "Q2 Leadership Track") that bundles several quests, giving employees a clear progression roadmap.
Completing all quests within a goal signals achievement of that broader objective. Goals are managed under Organization → Goals and are available to employees through the Goals Catalogue.
Aggregating Quests into a Goal
When creating or editing a goal, managers can attach any number of active quests from the organisation's catalogue. There is no limit to how many quests a goal can contain.
Employees who accept a goal are expected to complete every quest within it. Progress is tracked per quest, so partial completion is always visible and encouraged.
Status Lifecycle
Goals follow the same status lifecycle as quests:
- Draft — Not yet visible to employees. The goal is still being configured.
- Active — Published and available in the Goals Catalogue for employees to accept.
- Archived — No longer open to new assignments; historical data is preserved.
Progress Tracking
Goal progress is shown as a completion percentage based on how many quests within the goal have been successfully completed and approved.
Members can track their own goal progress on the My Goals page. Managers can monitor team-wide goal completion from Organization → Goals.
